In Russia have died according to the health authorities in April, more than twice as many people as a result of a Coronavirus infection, as previously specified. The health authority Rosstat announced on Saturday, April 2712 people have died in connection with the Virus. So far, the authorities had specified the number 1152.

With the new rules Russia follows the recommendations of the world health organization (WHO). Previously, there had been criticism of the Russian authorities.
