On January 25, VOX celebrates its 30th anniversary. According to its own statements, the broadcaster collected a total of 12,704,746 program minutes during this time. If this time were saved on DigiBeta as it used to be, the transmission band would be 74,949 kilometers long. This route goes around the world and also from Cologne to the jungle and back. The station's trademark, the red ball, came into play in 1999. Over the years, some stars have been able to establish themselves as the face of the station and have remained loyal to VOX to this day.

Tim Mälzer (51) has been with the broadcaster since 2003. He started in 2003 with his cooking show "It doesn't taste good, doesn't exist". In the show, he mostly presented dishes that were easy and cheap to cook. After the format ended in 2007, "Born to Cook" followed. In 2014 he launched his cooking show "Kitchen Impossible", which has had a constant place on television since 2016. Since 2021 he has also been in the joint cooking show with Steffen Henssler (50) "Mälzer and Henssler deliver!" to see.

Martin Rütter (52) became known with the help of his four-legged friends. In his program "Der Hundeprofi" he gave tips on dog training from 2008 to 2020. The viewer's favorite par excellence: Guido Maria Kretschmer (57) has been performing in his show "Shopping Queen" since 2012. In the styling documentary, five women compete against each other on consecutive days each week. The woman with the best fashion sense wins. Kretschmer's comments have achieved cult status over the years, allowing him to launch formats such as "Promi Shopping Queen", "Guidos Wedding Race" and "Guidos Deco Queen".

"The Lion's Den" is one of the most successful primetime formats in the history of the station. The show all about the latest business ideas from founders achieved a market value of 21.5 percent in September 2018 and thus took first place. This is followed by the music show "Sing my Song - The Exchange Concert", which achieved a market share of 20.3 percent in June 2017. In December 2016, the dramedy television series "Red Ribbon Club" captivated a total of 17.5 percent. The licensed formats shown on VOX were also well received by the public. Here "Titanic" landed in first place. In 2004, the US feature film drama from 1997 achieved a market share of 22.6 percent. "C.S.I." and "CSI: NY" achieved a market value of 22.5 and 21.3 percent in 2006, respectively.

In the anniversary year, VOX is showing some program highlights: In 2023, viewers can look forward to new formats such as "The Big Job Switch", "Herz on Board - Freshly in Love on the High Seas" and "Song Clash". The station also shows a four-hour documentary on DJ Bobo's (55) 30th stage anniversary and 30 years of Eurodance. In addition, new episodes of the popular formats “Die Höhle der Löwen”, “Kitchen Impossible”, “Grill den Henssler”, “First Dates Hotel” and the anniversary season of “Sing mein Song – Das Tauschkonzert” can be seen on VOX.
