Travel plans: Get out of Dortmund – Lottery millionaire Chico wants to go on a world tour

Actually, lottery winner Kürşat Yildirim, known as Chico, is firmly rooted in his hometown of Dortmund. The 42-year-old feels at home in Nordstadt and has repeatedly emphasized that he wants to stay there despite his ten million euro prize. But he still wants to treat himself to a short – or even a little longer – trip.

And since money is not an issue in his case, it can also be a vacation on a grand scale. As Chico revealed to the portal "The West", he is planning a trip around the world: "I want to see everything. If I start now, I want to be away for several weeks," he said. Where exactly it should go and in what order has not yet been clarified. But Chico already has some ideas. These are said to include Singapore, Brazil, Jamaica, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.

Of course, this is particularly useful in the cold German winter. The new millionaire wants to pack his bags and set off this year. First he wants to start the adventure on his own: "First I will travel alone, but later someone will definitely accompany me," he told "The West".

But that doesn't mean that Chico, who has become a real media phenomenon in recent weeks, will not be heard from again. He wants to keep his followers on Instagram, who now number well over 400,000, up to date during the trip.

Most recently, the lottery winner appeared in the RTL annual review "People, Pictures, Emotions". There he spoke, among other things, once again about how his home district, which is known as a social hotspot, has shaped him: "I want to show that someone who comes from the northern part of the city, who had drug problems, can still do something." That's why, despite all the warnings from experts, he's so open about his profits.

Despite his sudden wealth, the lottery millionaire does not want to forget where he comes from and is therefore involved with donations to the table. Otherwise, he has already spent part of his fortune on expensive cars and designer clothes.
