The British synth-pop band Depeche Mode has announced another concert in Berlin for next year as part of their world tour. Due to the immense demand, in addition to the show on July 7th, there will be another one on July 9th in the Berlin Olympic Stadium, the organizer announced to Live Nation.

The band announced their plans for the tour at a press conference in Berlin on Tuesday. At the end of March it will first go to the USA and Canada. The tour kick-off for the open-air concerts in Europe is May 16th in Amsterdam. Seven performances in five cities are now planned for Germany: on 26.5. on the Leipzig Festwiese, on July 4th and 6th in the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, on June 20th in the Munich Olympic Stadium, on June 29th in the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt and the two shows in the Berlin Olympic Stadium.

According to Live Nation, more than 200,000 tickets were sold in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on the first day of presale on Thursday.
