Tom Hiddleston: Kicking for a good cause

Tom Hiddleston (42) arrived in Manchester on Sunday in high spirits - for a very special football tournament in which he himself will take part. In the evening, the "Loki" star will be on the field with other stars for the "Soccer Aid 2023" and will collect donations for Unicef.

The famous charity game takes place on Sunday evening at the sold-out Old Trafford Stadium. Among the participants are presenter Paddy McGuinness (49), football legend Jill Scott (36), actor Danny Dyer (45) and boxer Tommy Fury (24). Sprinter Usain Bolt (36), track and field athlete Mo Farah (40) and singer Liam Payne (29) were also announced.

The "Soccer Aid 2023" event has been organized by UNICEF since 2006 and has already raised the equivalent of more than 87 million euros for the support and protection of children worldwide.

In the first photos published by the "Mirror", among others, Hiddleston grins from ear to ear when he arrives in the blue Puma sports outfit. The Hollywood star should also be busy with his main job: at the beginning of May it became known that Hiddleston was shooting the Stephen King film "The Life of Chuck" together with Mark Hamill (71). In addition, the start date for the second season of his Disney series "Loki" has now been set: October 6, 2023.
