Tina Turner after the death of her son: "You left the world far too soon"

Tina Turner (83) made an emotional statement on social media after her son's death. Taking to Instagram, the singer wrote: "Ronnie, you left the world far too soon. It is with sadness that I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son." In the comments, numerous fans and friends express their sympathy.

Ronnie Turner (1960-2022) has died at the age of 62. His wife, the musician Afida Turner (45), announced this in an Instagram post. Captioning a photo of her, Ronnie and Tina Turner together, she wrote: "I did my best to the end but I couldn't save you. I've loved you for 17 years. It's very bad. I'm very angry."

It is a tragedy that a "true angel" and a "great soul" like Ronnie has now passed away. He is now reunited with his brother Craig (1958-2018) and his father Ike Turner (1931-2007): "Rest in peace," says Afida Turner. She also shared more photos of her late husband, with whom she had been married since 2007.

Tina Turner is the mother of two biological and two adopted children. Their son Craig Turner died on July 3, 2018 in Los Angeles at the age of 59. Tina Turner was 18 years old when he was born. His father was saxophonist Raymond Hill (1933-1996), who performed with Ike Turner's band Kings of Rhythm.

Craig was adopted by Ike Turner after he and Tina Turner married in 1962. Together, the two then had son Ronnie Turner. Tina Turner adopted Ike Turner's two sons from a previous relationship. The marriage was divorced in 1978. The singer lives with her second husband (since 2013), the German music manager Erwin Bach (66), in Switzerland.
