Retirees smoking pot, fat joints in a nursing home? Of course. Marijuana relaxes, relieves joint pain, helps with arthritis, glaucoma and other ailments. "It's amazing," says Richard Osman. And he should really have a good insight into what's going on in old people's homes. He writes detective stories about a quartet of lively seniors who are looking for killers and other amusements. "That's the nice thing about writing about people in their seventies doing what they want." A 20-year-old smoking pot, who is surprised? Osman asks. "A 75-year-old, on the other hand, yes, that's more fun."
