Three-part music film: “Real” singer Kim Frank: “I wanted to be honest and not leave out anything unpleasant”

20 years after the end of “Real” you made a film about your youth. How did that happen? The five of us try to meet at least once a year, which is not easy to coordinate between jobs and families. In February 2022, we had a boozy evening and realized that we never did anything with the video footage we filmed when we were young. That's exactly what I didn't want. Sometimes it was tiring to listen to five sixteen-year-olds talking stupid things for half an hour in the videos. But I didn't try to make us look cooler than I felt when I watched the tapes. When writing the script, I based it on the stories that I like to tell the people I love. For example, my wife, who I met after “real time”.
