"Three hazelnuts for Cinderella" star Pavel Trávníček (72) was taken to the hospital by ambulance on Sunday evening because of breathing difficulties. The fans of the Czech actor and voice actor were informed about this by his wife Monika Trávníčková (37) on social media. "Friends, have a nice Advent. Oh yes … and think of my husband. Thanks to the rescue workers for their quick arrival, now he is in the hands of the doctors," she wrote on Facebook two days ago on a photo collage of her man and an advent wreath.

In the meantime, she has thanked her husband for the great sympathy. "Thank you everyone for the nice messages of support. My husband thanks you very much [...] We are very grateful for all the wishes and also for the wishes of President Miloš Zeman [...] My husband sends a big greeting to everyone," she wrote alongside a photo of herself, her husband and their son in front of a Christmas tree. And then gives the all-clear: "He's feeling a little better."

The day after the admission, she had already given an initial health update. "Thank you friends for the great support, we really appreciate it. We are unable to respond to all calls and messages at the moment... My husband has stabilized, thanks to all paramedics," said Monika Trávníčková the followers know. And she pushed afterwards: "We can't buy health, take care of yourselves!"

As the Czech daily newspaper further reports on its online page "iDnes.cz", Pavel Trávníček and his fourth wife have been married since the summer of 2015. This marriage produced a son, Maxmilián, who will celebrate his sixth birthday at the end of December. The popular actor has two adult sons from his previous marriages.

In the cult fairy tale film "Three Hazelnuts for a Cinderella" (1973), which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year, he plays the prince who, after many quarrels and misunderstandings, finally gets his Cinderella to wife. The title role was performed by Libuše Šafránková (1953-2921), who died in Prague last year.
