Warner Bros. is bringing "The Flash" to theaters earlier than planned - if only a week. The new start date for the superhero film starring Ezra Miller (30) is June 16, 2023, as reported by the "Hollywood Reporter". Originally, Warner Bros. had targeted June 23rd.

Industry insiders at The Hollywood Reporter cite the eagerly awaited Indiana Jones and the Call of Fate as a possible reason for the earlier start date. The fifth part of the adventure series with Harrison Ford (80) is expected to start on June 30, 2023. Warner Bros. probably wants to avoid this potential mega blockbuster with this move. "The Flash" gets two weeks to unfold without a major competitor.

"The Flash" is the first solo film about the lightning-fast title hero from DC. Fans already know the superhero, whose name is Barry Allen in normal life, from "Justice League". Flash was part of the hero team alongside Batman and Superman.

Batman will also appear in the Flash solo film. Since Barry Allen travels through time to save his mother, the bat man is played by two actors: Michael Keaton (71) and Ben Affleck (50). Both have worn the cape several times.
