"The Crown": This scandal should become the topic

Prince Harry's (38) Nazi costume scandal is said to be the subject of season six of the Netflix series "The Crown". This is reported by the British tabloid "The Sun". The son of King Charles III who emigrated to the USA three years ago. (74) was photographed in 2005 at a party in the get-up.

The royal family apologized after a photo was published by The Sun. The then 20-year-old Prince Harry himself said he was very sorry: "It was a bad choice of costume and I apologize."

The Duke of Sussex recently blamed family members for the scandal. Prince Harry claims in his autobiography "Spare" (German title: "Reserve"), which was published in January, that he called his brother Prince William (40) and his now wife Princess Kate (41) in the run-up to the costume party and asked them whether he should wear a pilot's uniform or a Nazi uniform, and they supposedly said the latter. According to "The Sun", this is disputed in high-ranking royal circles. Prince Harry called the costume choice "one of the biggest mistakes of my life".

Netflix will now apparently retell the scandal in the sixth and final season of "The Crown". Then Luther Ford will be seen as Prince Harry and Ed McVey as Prince William. The final episodes of the popular series about the life of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) and her family are said to be released on the streaming service later this year.

This could be uncomfortable for Prince Harry. A source told The Sun that older viewers will remember the 2005 scandal and photo, "but this past episode in Harry's life may be news to Netflix's many younger viewers."
