"Ted Lasso": New trailer sets the mood for season three

On March 15, the popular series "Ted Lasso" returns to the streaming service Apple TV. Before the start of the twelve new episodes, which appear weekly on Wednesdays, Apple TV has now presented the long trailer. It shows AFC Richmond's efforts under head coach Ted Lasso (Jason Sudeikis, 47) to survive after being promoted back to the English Premier League.

The mostly wordless trailer hints at an emotional season for AFC Richmond. Coach Ted, his assistant Beard (Brendan Hunt, 51) and new assistant coach Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein, 42) run the side, while Nate (Nick Mohammed, 42) has left the club and kicked off season three at West Ham United trains. The English media, meanwhile, are predicting that AFC Richmond will only finish last in the Premier League, according to the official storyline.

Meanwhile, main character Ted also struggles with personal problems, while owner Rebecca Welton (Hannah Waddingham, 48) wants to beat her ex-husband Rupert (Anthony Head, 69) and Keeley (Juno Temple, 33) runs her own PR company. All of this is accompanied in the long trailer by the Rolling Stones' iconic song "You Can't Always Get What You Want".

The finale of the third "Ted Lasso" season is also designed as a series finale, as actor Goldstein revealed last July. The Apple TV series has already won two Emmy Awards for Best Comedy Series.
