Reese Witherspoon (46) obviously has reason to celebrate: her son Deacon Phillippe turned 19 on October 23. On Instagram, she therefore dedicates a personal and loving post to her offspring: "Big birthday love for Deacon Phillippe! The guy who has the happiest energy, endless drive, ambition and talent. And the biggest heart in the world," she writes about two photos, showing a charmingly smiling Deacon of today and as a child.

Witherspoon couldn't be prouder of her son, who only made her acting debut in the third season of the Netflix series "Never in My Life..." in July 2022. With the words "I love you, D!" she ends the post.

Sister Ava Phillippe (23) also took the opportunity to congratulate her “(not so) little brother” – including an entertaining series of photos. It features several snaps of the 19-year-old, including being buried in the sand and making a face as a young boy. "You're the heart of every party and the way you invite everyone around you to join in the fun is so special," the 23-year-old gushed of her brother.

Both Deacon and Ava Phillippe are from Witherspoon's relationship with fellow actor Ryan Phillippe (48). The ex-couple were married from 1999 to 2008. Witherspoon also had another son, Tennessee James (10), with her current husband Jim Toth (52), whom she married in 2011.
