Carmen and Lupita Andrade were born as Siamese twins, they are connected from the chest to the pelvis. There is no privacy for the two of them, for better or for worse, they spend their whole lives together – including the situations in which one would rather be alone. Carmen's relationship with her boyfriend is therefore a particular challenge for the 21-year-old sisters.

In a question and answer session on YouTube, the native Mexicans gave a little insight into how they deal with it. She has been with her boyfriend for a year and a half, reported Carmen. The couple met through a dating app - it was weird to state on the platform that she was connected to her twin. Her current partner was obviously not deterred by this.

"Of course I was very transparent with everything. It was a learning process for everyone. Of course we had to discuss what was okay and what wasn't," said the 21-year-old. After all, she and her boyfriend were never alone, the sister was always there. And for the man it must have been at least a strange situation. "I always make fun of them both," says Lupita.

The question that interested all fans of the twins, who have more than three million followers on TikTok, was of course: How is being together, especially when it comes to sex? That's a taboo subject, if Carmen is to be believed: "We're not intimate in that way, and that's okay with him." In doing so, she is also considerate of her sister, who describes herself as "asexual". In the video, the twins emphasized that each of them has their own physical sensations.

Carmen and Lupita Andrade were predicted to live just three days when they were born in Mexico in 2002. They have lived in the USA since childhood. Each of them has its own heart, arms, lungs and stomach. But the sisters share a lower body and thus important organs such as the intestines, legs and also the sexual organs.
