Despite 50 years of marriage to his wife, pop singer Wolfgang Petry cannot say anything about the secret of such a long relationship. "No, I can't do that," said the 71-year-old of the German Press Agency. "Probably had a lot of luck," explained the 71-year-old laconically. "What was the spell with pot and lid again?"

According to their own statements, Petry and his wife Rosie have been married for more than 50 years – the couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in November 2022. They met each other in a nightclub in Cologne-Rodenkirchen.

"It was love at second sight," Petry said of the beginning. "We function, complement each other, are not knitted the same way and still have one heart and one soul." Speaking of his own role in the relationship, he said, "I think I'm a loyal husband."

His wife Rosie has been more in the background over the years. The pop singer ("madness", "love, lose, forget, forgive") has now dedicated his new album to his love of life - in the video for his new song "You belong to me and I belong to you" Rosie even has it an appearance.
