Birthday greetings from Sarah Ferguson (63) - and Queen Elizabeth II's corgis (1926-2022). On Instagram, Prince Andrew's ex-wife (62) published several sweet snapshots of her 63rd birthday in two posts.

She is lying in a meadow in a fir-green blazer and is playing with the dogs of the recently deceased queen. The Queen would have signed Ferguson's accompanying comment: "The gifts that never stop giving [joy]..."Queen Elizabeth II was a great dog lover throughout her life. She has owned more than 30 Corgi and Dachshund Corgi mixes in total.

The Queen bequeathed her dogs to her son Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Ferguson. It was "a great honor" to be able to give Muick and Sandy a new home, Ferguson said recently in an interview with the British newspaper "The Telegraph". In it, she also dubbed the corgis "national treasures." One of the dogs had previously been a gift from Prince Andrew to his mother.
