After starting her own podcast, Duchess Meghan also wants to share her life more with the public on social media. "I'll get back to you... on Instagram," the 41-year-old told American lifestyle magazine The Cut. When this should happen and what she wants to share with her fans remained open.
With her entry into the British royal family, Meghan, who previously worked as an actress, had to stop being active on social media and on her blog. She loved sharing her life back then, but loved her partner Prince Harry even more. "It was a big change - from the level of autonomy to a different life." At times, she and Harry (37) maintained a social media account called @sussexroyal, on which they shared their own photos and news – unlike what is usual in the palace.
In the sensational television interview with Oprah Winfrey last year, Meghan also accused the British royal family of lack of support and racism. With a view to reconciliation, the Duchess said: "I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy not to forgive. But it also takes a lot of effort to forgive."
In her new Spotify podcast "Archetypes", Meghan talks to other prominent women about female stereotypes.
