Robbie Williams: Special concerts for his biopic "Better Man"

Robbie Williams (48) has announced two concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. According to media reports, the singer will perform at the venerable London concert hall on November 6th and 7th.

However, the gigs are not regular appearances on his upcoming "XXV Tour". Rather, the concerts are staged as part of filming. Material is to be collected for the film "Better Man" about the life of the former Take That star. So viewers can become part of the biopic from "The Greatest Showman" director Michael Gracey.

The two concerts in November recreate Robbie Williams' performance at the Royal Albert Hall on October 10, 2001. The gig came out in December 2001 as a DVD "Live at the Albert". Robbie Williams covered well-known songs from the swing era by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, among others.

"Better Man" was announced in late 2021 as a satirical musical about Robbie Williams. In the biopic, Robbie Williams partly plays himself. Actor Jonno Davies (30, "Kingsman") embodies the young Robbie. A release date for "Better Man" is not yet known.
