ZDF once again reached the most viewers on Friday evening with its crime series, but now it has a real challenger with the RTL dance show "Let's Dance".

The episode "Flight Traces" of the ZDF series "The Public Prosecutor" was viewed by 6.14 million people (22.1 percent market share from 8:15 p.m.), the "SOKO Leipzig" episode "Frog Queens" an hour later by 5.08 million people (19.0 percent).

"Let's Dance" kept up well in the battle for audience favor: the RTL dance show broke the 4 million mark with the first regular episode and took strong market shares. 4.02 million people already accounted for 18.0 percent in the classic target group aged 3 and over, while among younger viewers (14 to 49 years) "Let's Dance" was clearly ahead with 21.9 percent.
