Ratings: "Wilsberg" is rated king on Saturday evening

The show "The Masked Singer" has lured 2.42 million people in front of the screen - and is thus far behind the ratings king "Wilsberg". At 8:15 p.m. on Saturday evening, the popular quiz show on ProSieben achieved a market share of 10.3 percent.

TV presenter Katja Burkard was the first celebrity to leave the new season in a vegetable costume. The 57-year-old, known from the competing broadcaster RTL, was exposed because she had received too few votes from the viewers. She was disguised as a broccoli mask on two legs.

The primetime show did not come close to the ZDF ratings by a long shot: The crime thriller "Wilsberg: Tastes after murder" on Second German Television had 7.17 million viewers - a market share of 27.4 percent. ARD came in behind with the family show "Ask the mouse": 3.19 million people sat down in front of the television (13.2 percent).

The SWR program "Schlager-Fiß mit Andy Borg" brought 1.38 million to the couch (5.3 percent). RTLzwei broadcast the action thriller "Project: Peacemaker" and reached 0.92 million (3.7 percent). The digital animated film "Finding Dory" on Sat.1 attracted 0.81 million people (3.2 percent). The comic action film "Ghost Rider" with actor Nicolas Cage on Vox attracted 0.76 million viewers (3.0 percent).

The casting show "Die Puppenstars" with entertainer Thomas Gottschalk on RTL also wanted to see 0.76 million (3.1 percent) at the same time. The series of reports "The Secret World..." on Kabel Eins attracted 0.54 million (2.2 percent).
