The Beatles took first place in the German album charts with a remix of their cult album "Revolver" from 1966. They edged out US singer-songwriter Taylor Swift to second place with "Midnights." This was announced by GfK Entertainment on Friday.

The pop singer Ben Zucker lands on the Drei with "What we have is forever (The best of 5 years)". The hits by Helene Fischer continue in fourth place ("Rausch"). Behind lies the German folk rock band dArtagnan with "Felsenfest".

In the single charts, Peter Fox is at the top, who released the song "Zukunft Pink" together with the singer Inéz. Sam Smith secured second place
