Former tennis star Boris Becker failed in court with his injunction action against TV comedian Oliver Pocher. The Offenburg district court decided on Tuesday that Becker's personal rights would not be violated by a television contribution by the comedian, as a spokeswoman said after a hearing. According to the court, the publication is possible because it deals with "portraits of contemporary history". It also explicitly mentioned the concerns of freedom of speech and freedom of broadcasting. The judgment is not yet final.
