Prince Harry laughs on the special train: new pictures from the visit to Düsseldorf

Since the Invictus Games will take place in Germany in 2023, Prince Harry (38) and Duchess Meghan (41) visited Düsseldorf in September. New pictures have now been published on the Instagram accounts of Rheinbahn and Incivtus Games 2023, on which Harry and Meghan can be seen in addition to other people.

One of the shots shows the Royal beaming in the driver's cab of a special train, which was accordingly inaugurated by the couple. In addition, the two can be seen in a large group photo, among other things. Harry and Meghan were welcomed by employees of the Rheinbahn as well as the event partner Sportstadt Düsseldorf and the Bundeswehr for the maiden voyage.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan had previously been received by Mayor Stephan Keller and the Bundeswehr on the market square and had attended a reception in the town hall, where they also signed the city's golden book. We also went across the Rhine to the Merkur Spiel-Arena, where a press conference took place. The Invictus Games, a sporting event for war-disabled soldiers initiated by Harry, is scheduled to take place in Düsseldorf from September 9th to 16th, 2023.

At the beginning of September, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan traveled to Great Britain. Originally, the couple only wanted to spend a few days in Europe. Manchester was the first stop for the two, followed by their visit to Düsseldorf. Following news that the Queen's health was deteriorating, Harry traveled to Balmoral Castle in Scotland and canceled his planned attendance at the WellChild Awards in London. Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022) died on September 8th. Harry and Meghan then stayed in the prince's home until their state funeral on September 19.
