Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: They are particularly honored in Düsseldorf

Special guests in the Jan-Wellem Hall of Düsseldorf City Hall: Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (41) entered the Golden Book there, as shown, among other things, by an Instagram post on the city's official account. A series of images show the completed entry of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex alongside the moment of the signature.

"Before that, the Duke and Duchess were received by OB Dr. Stephan Keller and the Bundeswehr on the market square," the post continues. Harry came to the state capital as patron of the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023. The Paralympic sports event for war-disabled soldiers will take place there in exactly one year.

As "RP Online" reports, the couple also took the time to get in touch with the waiting crowd in the market square after the ceremony in the town hall. They shook hands, took photos and signed autographs. Meghan arrived in an elegant outfit and showcased herself in a cream halterneck top by Anine Bing. She combined it with beige, wide trousers by Brandon Maxwell and white, pointed pumps.

Prince Harry appeared in Dusseldorf in a light gray suit, under which he wore a white shirt. After the visit to the town hall, the two of them took a boat across the Rhine to the Düsseldorf football stadium, where the Invictus Games event is taking place.

The two royals, who moved to the USA in 2020, have a tight schedule on their short trip to Europe: after their visit to Düsseldorf, they will travel back to the United Kingdom: the WellChild Awards will take place in London on Thursday. It is the first time Harry and Meghan have visited the royal home since Queen Elizabeth II's (96) platinum jubilee celebrations in June.
