Johanna (Karin Hanczewski) is invited to a weekend visit by her widowed mother Henriette (Corinna Harfouch). Surprisingly, Henriette proudly introduces her new boyfriend Philipp (Louis Nitsche), who is 25 years younger. Johanna, taken by surprise by this situation, is skeptical and initially thinks Philipp is a marriage fraud. A difficult encounter develops between Johanna's distrust, Henriette's self-confidence and Philipp's efforts to smooth things over.

“The Taste” is entering its twelfth round and is once again looking for the best cooking talent in Germany. After a short break, Frank Rosin returns and completes the jury around Alexander Herrmann, Alex Kumptner and Tim Raue. Georg Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) is tasked with finding 17-year-old Marc, the son of an old school friend. He discovers that Marc is involved in drug deals and even worse activities. Marc bullies his teachers, takes part in illegal car races and when Wilsberg observes Marc's classmates at a race, he makes a shocking discovery: he finds the body of a young man, who turns out to be Marc. While Lea (Anja Kruse) collapses when Wilsberg tells her the sad news, Marc's ex-girlfriend reacts strangely calmly.
