While the two are still discussing, a car pulls off the road in front of them. What looks like an unfortunate accident turns into a complicated criminal case. The dying scientist Schürer (Heinrich Cuipers) uses his last strength to slip Koops an envelope that the killer Winter (Holger Handtke) is after.
