The two detectives Isabelle Grandjean (Anna Pieri Zuercher) and Tessa Ott (Carol Schuler) are called to a gruesome triple murder at a tourist destination in the picturesque Zurich Oberland. A shot woman sits in a car, in front of it lie two dead men, all shot in the head. While Tessa secures the crime scene, Isabelle makes a heartbreaking discovery: six-year-old Ella (Maura Landert) has hidden under her dead mother's skirt and held out for hours.

Laura (Nicola-Rabea Langrzik), the youngest member of the local council, has just successfully started a community garden when her father, Mayor Francis Seal (Eckhard Preuß), suddenly suffers a heart attack. Lady Hennessy (Kerry Norton) offers him the position of editor-in-chief of a local newspaper, which he reluctantly accepts. When Laura and Bob meet, there is an immediate spark.

After her release from prison, Debbie (Sandra Bullock), Danny Ocean's younger sister, turns to her former partner Lou (Cate Blanchett). Her goal is an extremely valuable necklace that is to be worn by actress Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway) at this year's Met Gala. You only have three and a half weeks to put together a team of specialists.

Alice (Dakota Johnson) decides to break up with her long-time boyfriend and rediscover herself. As a newly single woman in New York, she is looking for new acquaintances. Her career-oriented sister Meg (Leslie Mann) feels that she is missing something without a family, her colleague Robin (Rebel Wilson) has a different man every evening and the pretty Lucy (Alison Brie) searches online for "Mr. Right".

The internal investigators are taking another look at the alleged attack by Josef Eriksson (Martin Wallström) on a SÄPO employee. He is suspended and even comes under suspicion of murder. In this situation, Josef receives unexpected help from SÄPO boss Klas Fredén (Jonas Karlsson). In return, he is supposed to support Fredén in retrieving a valuable painting. But shortly afterwards, the target of Josef's operation is found dead in her hotel room. The Beck team has to do without the suspended Josef for the time being.
