The widower Danyal (Tim Seyfi) is worried about his daughter Jila (Aylin Öcal), even though the doctor has long been on her own feet. When the man in his mid-fifties waited in vain for a call back, he rushed to Berlin with two friends from Kitzingen in Franconia. The career lawyer Markus (Marcus Mittermeier) and the entertainer Tobi (Dirk Borchardt), also loving fathers with adult daughters in the capital, want to combine the friendship service with the opportunity to see to it that things are right in their own way. However, as soon as they arrive, the three realize that they know even less about the lives of the young women than they could have imagined!

The crime scene is tough for Böhmer (Jürgen Tonkel) and Kirchner (Jonathan Hutter), because the victim is no stranger. The lawyer Hannes de Boer (Martin Rapold) was shot and critically injured. His client, the investigative journalist Gabriel Vermeulen (Alexander Vitzthum), dies in the assassination attempt. What explosive information did he have for de Boer? Vera Lanz's (Katharina Böhm) research leads her to the right-wing radical group "Last Cohort", whose death list included Vermeulen.

The days of organized crime in Gotham City seem to be over thanks to Batman (Christian Bale) and Lt. James Gordon (Gary Oldman) to be counted. The two find another strong ally in prosecutor Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart). Since the lawman puts the gangsters behind bars one by one, he is already considered the "white knight" of the city. But suddenly a new, dangerous opponent appears: the Joker (Heath Ledger).

After the mysterious death of the British Prime Minister, the leaders of Western civilization gather in London for national mourning. As do their opponents. What is probably the best-protected funeral in the world quickly turns into a deadly gauntlet. Hundreds of terrorists unleash a hellish inferno in the British capital - killing five heads of state. The robust bodyguard Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) only narrowly saves the life of US President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) and immediately flees with him into the London underground.

The IT specialist Hartmut Wörner is beaten to death in the red light district. Initially, a dispute with the sex worker Iris (Paula Conrad Hugenschmidt) is suspected. Then Nikolaus Müller (Michael Schenk) appears at the police headquarters. He works for the Military Counterintelligence Service, MAD, and takes charge of the case. Wörner had obtained highly sensitive data that must not be made public under any circumstances. The situation is particularly delicate for Jan (Marco Girnth).
