The fact that this miracle fortunately happened in the tiny chapel of the Fuchsbichlerhof is extremely good for business for the notoriously cash-strapped pension landlady Sophie (Elena Uhlig). The timing in the otherwise quiet preseason could hardly be better. However, their stable resident Barthl (Friedrich von Thun) wants to get rid of the noisy sensation pilgrims. Sophie's political opponent Jungböck (Ferdinand Hofer) is also not happy about the publicity for Sophie. He senses the chance to expose her as a fraud!

The body of Stella's physics teacher Torben Fendrig (Dominik Penschek) is found in the Köpenick prison, which has been empty for years. He was locked in a cell and died of thirst.
