For the young nun Charlotte (Kristin Suckow), convent life is not a limitation, but a liberation from her former life in the fast lane. When the cocky advertising professional Conrad (David Rott) gets stranded in her monastery on a business trip, she feels confirmed in her decision. The abbess Katharina (Anja Karmanski) as well as the experienced sister Hedi (Christine Schorn) see the uninvited guest as a gift from heaven. His marketing skills could help lead the monastery out of the red and thus avert an impending sale.

Devastated by his cancer diagnosis, Wade (Ryan Reynolds) gets a tempting offer from a shady organization in his desperation. In exchange for superpowers, his cancer should be cured.
