The singer Jasmin Wagner, known as "Blümchen", has become a mother for the first time. The 42-year-old announced the birth of her daughter on Instagram on Wednesday evening. She shared a photo showing her baby's feet.

Based on one of her most famous songs, Wagner wrote: "Mission completed! Heart to heart with our beautiful baby girl."

The musician ("Herz an Herz", "Kleiner Satellit") made her pregnancy public in July. The father of the child is therefore her friend, a Danish fashion entrepreneur. "He is very loving, we are both having this experience for the first time. The greatest adventure begins now," said the singer to "Bild". The couple have been together for two years. Wagner was previously married to entrepreneur Frank Sippel.
