Is there "Girl Power" times five again? The Spice Girls are still trying to win Victoria Beckham for a band comeback, according to singer Mel C.

"We're constantly editing them. We're like, 'No pressure. But the world wants it," said the 48-year-old in an interview with the TV show "Extra". She couldn't give a time frame for a possible reunion of the band: "We're trying to push it through. At the moment, Victoria is still in the starting blocks. She's always creatively involved. We want her to be happy. It's our dream to get her back ."

"Posh Spice" Beckham declined to take part in a joint tour in 2019. The five band members are still in touch, Mel C said: "We don't see each other as often as we would like... But we stay in touch and always talk about possibilities and try to get everyone back on stage together. " Together with her bandmate Mel B, she is working on implementing this.

Mel C, whose real name is Melanie Chisholm, was known as "Sporty Spice" with the Spice Girls. This year the band celebrates the 25th anniversary of their cult album "Spiceworld".
