US actor Ke Huy Quan continues to worry about his career despite winning an Oscar. "Even though I've just won an Oscar, I'm still very scared of what's coming tomorrow," said the 51-year-old, who won the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in "Everything Everywhere All at Once" on Monday night had been, the industry magazine "Variety". "Everything is still so fresh in my head and that's why I'm still very afraid of the future."

Quan rose to prominence as a child actor in the Spielberg film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies. After that, however, the native Vietnamese fought in vain for further roles for several decades. Quan said he talked to his agent after winning an Oscar. "I said, 'I'm so worried, this is just a one-time thing. I've experienced this before and I'm very afraid that history will repeat itself."

Quan plays the frustrated husband of a stressed-out laundromat owner in "Everything Everywhere All at Once." The film, which combines elements of science fiction, fantasy, martial arts, slapstick comedy and family drama, was this year's Oscar winner. Alongside Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis also won the Best Supporting Actor trophy, while Michelle Yeoh became the first Asian woman to win Best Actress.
