For many years, Georg Friedrich Prince of Prussia remained discreetly and largely undisturbed under the radar of public perception. Hardly anyone could relate to the 46-year-old's name or immediately identify his face when he was present at a major public event. In the gossip columns of the colorful papers, he, his wife Sophie, née Princess von Isenburg, or even one of his four children were hardly to be seen - despite his deep dark blue blood.
