All in all it can be said: Germany did more than just properly at this year's Oscars. Every time "Nothing New in the West" was mentioned, the audience in the Dolby Theater cheered. It seemed as if the German filmmakers had made plenty of friends and fans among the crowd of celebrities present. The entire team will certainly remember this evening for a long time.
