New Tinder function: Grandpa and his best friend tinder with: New feature brings Cupid reinforcement into the app

“It takes a village to raise a child,” goes the old saying, and these days it can be added: “It takes the entire family and circle of friends to find a single viable person in the dating pool.” The dating app Tinder has now taken this to heart and is launching a feature called “Matchmaker”.

With the new extension it is possible for friends and family to recommend other users to a single. To get a like, the single still has to swipe to the right. Until now, the only option was to pass on your own cell phone with your Tinder account for a check or to send your profile card via Whatsapp, for example. However, sending the message required that both parties involved be logged in to Tinder in order to be able to access the profile in the app.

In order to use the “Matchmaker” function, the person who is supposed to rate the profile will not need a Tinder account in the future. It is possible that grandma and grandpa can also use their smartphone to look for a partner for you. And that is how it works:

Well, who does your mother, grandpa or best friend recommend? A fun way to pass the time, because according to a survey by the dating portal, over 75 percent of the singles surveyed said that they talk to friends about their dating life several times a month anyway. “Matchmaker” also makes it possible to go into more detail the next time you meet, since the other person saw all the profile cards directly. In addition, married women in particular often find it very amusing and interesting to swipe for their single girlfriend - now it is finally officially possible.
