Pure action: "John Wick: Chapter 4"

In the action hit "John Wick: Chapter 4", Hollywood star Keanu Reeves, now 58 years old, shows himself to be a tough survivor. In the now fourth part of the globally successful Wick saga, the story of the professional killer who has to assert himself against an army of murderers chasing him is once again told. Corpses pave his way.

The story is secondary. Countless brilliantly choreographed fight scenes around the globe are crucial. Because of the many brutal scenes of violence, the film has received the rarely given highest age restriction in Germany and is only approved for viewers over the age of 18.

Great theater in the cinema: John Malkovich is "Seneca"

The internationally acclaimed German film director Robert Schwentke ("The Captain") looks at the life and death of the philosopher Seneca with a star ensemble led by Hollywood icon John Malkovich. And derives insights into the present from looking at history.

The film is stylistically reminiscent of legendary productions by the theater director Frank Castorf at the Berlin Volksbühne. The history play effectively criticizes current gaps between the speeches and actions of many rulers worldwide. As cinematic theatre, this is of great appeal.
