After the musical adaptation "West Side Story", Oscar winner Steven Spielberg is now back with a very personal film. In the autobiographical drama "The Fabelmans", the 76-year-old director looks back on his turbulent childhood and the beginnings of his passion for cinema. As the son of Jewish parents, he grew up with three sisters in America in the 1950s and 1960s. In the film, which was nominated for seven Oscars, Paul Dano plays a character based on Spielberg's father, Michelle Williams plays the mother role, and newcomer Gabriel LaBelle plays Sam Fabelman as young Spielberg.

"Scream VI": Horror cult film series continues
The sixth part of the horror series "Scream" is coming to the cinemas. "Scream VI" follows the story of the previous film from 2022 and continues the story about the sisters Sam (Melissa Barrera) and Tara (Jenna Ortega) as well as the twins Chad (Mason Gooding) and Mindy (Jasmin Savoy Brown). "Ghostface", the serial killer with the spooky white mask, is on their trail, this time in New York. Worth seeing legal drama "Saint Omer"
The legal drama "Saint Omer" sensitively tells of motherhood and racial tensions in our society. The film by French director Alice Diop won the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival. At the center is an author named Rama (Kayije Kagame). As an observer and for a book project, she is following the trial of a young woman accused of drowning her 15-year-old baby in the sea. Rama and the accused Laurence Coly (Guslagie Malanda) both have Senegalese roots and live in France. During the process, Rama is increasingly confronted with her own worries and memories.
