Netflix: Jennifer Aniston und Adam Sandler in Murder Mystery 2"

Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler as a married couple in a US comedy - you can't really go wrong with that. In the sequel to the Netflix hit "Murder Mystery" (available from March 31), the two A-listers have to solve another curious criminal case. This time she is drawn to Paris.

Flashback: Four years ago, Nick and Audrey Spitz, who are actually patrol officers and hairdressers, unintentionally stumbled into a very bloody criminal case on a trip to Europe - and even solved it in the end (somehow). They now run a poorly performing detective agency in New York.

At the wedding of her Indian billionaire friend Maharajah (again: Adeel Akhtar), the groom is kidnapped from a luxury island to Paris. The two Spitzs are supposed to help hunt down the kidnapper or kidnappers - and are once again suspected themselves.

Much faster action scenes follow than in the first part, Aniston ("Friends") and Sandler ("Children's Heads") leave behind a veritable field of rubble - and in the end find themselves at a dizzying height at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

A highlight of the 90-minute action comedy is a joint dance scene at the Indian wedding ceremony. "I'm one of the best dancers in America, I'm very flexible and have a great body, everyone knows that too," joked Sandler ("Child's Heads") in the dpa interview.

"Murder Mystery 2" once again impresses with the chemistry of two Hollywood stars who already stood together in front of the camera in 2011 in "My Invented Woman" and also get along really well in private.
