US superstar Mariah Carey jumps into the sea for her 54th birthday: "Celebratory splashing", she comments on a video on Instagram that shows her doing it.

The five-time Grammy winner can be seen jumping off a boat into the aquamarine water in a pink and black wetsuit while her song "Honey (Classic Mix)" plays in the background. Then the pop star floats on her back in the water.

Carey wasn't celebrating alone, her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka was also at the singer's side on this special day. "This is one of my favorite pictures. Forever. Happy anniversary my beautiful queen," the choreographer wrote alongside a black-and-white selfie that shows the pair cuddling together and smiling.

Several celebrities such as Debbie Allen (73) or Dinah Jane (25) from Fifth Harmony showered Carey with birthday wishes, which the musician posted on her Instagram Stories.
