Mandy Moore: "This Is Us" star is a mother for the second time

The US actress Mandy Moore (38) has become a mother for the second time. She announced this in an Instagram post. The 'This Is Us' star shared three photos from the delivery room of herself, newborn Oscar Bennett Goldsmith and her husband, musician Taylor Goldsmith, 36. She wrote: "Ozzie is here!" Her son was born a little later, "but with a lot of sovereignty". The birth was easier and faster than that of his big brother.

Just 20 months ago, the young family welcomed their first child, August Harrison. In July 2022, speaking to Today Parents, Moore revealed that she would have to stop using a common, pain-relieving method of delivery for both her first birth and her forthcoming second birth. She suffers from immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and therefore the number of her blood platelets is too low for an epidural anesthesia (PDA).

A few weeks earlier, Moore announced that she and Goldsmith are expecting another child. Moore was married to singer-songwriter Ryan Adams (47) from 2009 to 2016, and their marriage remained childless. The actress was previously in a relationship with "Scrubs" actor Zach Braff. In his hospital series, she played the girlfriend of the main character J.D., played by Braff.
