According to the report of "People" magazine, about 100 people were injured as a result of the storm, seven of them had to be hospitalized.

Later that evening, Tomlinson made a statement expressing his concern about the sudden and unexpected cancellation of his concert. "I'm devastated by the show tonight, I hope everyone is fine, I'll be back," he tweeted in response, adding, encouraging his fans, "Although we didn't play the concert, I felt all your passion. Sending you all my love!"

Meanwhile, the fire department also announced via Twitter that seven people with non-life-threatening injuries had been transported to the surrounding hospitals. A total of 80 to 90 people were treated on site. Injuries mainly include lacerations and broken bones.

According to a report by USA Today, the hailstones were the size of golf balls. The weather service had previously predicted severe thunderstorms and storms in the Denver area for Wednesday evening.
