Model Linda Evangelista (58) and actress Salma Hayek (57) are probably a prime example of a successful patchwork family. Both women have a child with the French manager François-Henri Pinault (61) - and apparently get along well. Now Evangelista revealed how much Hayek supported her in her fight against cancer.
Linda Evangelista has spoken about her ordeal several times in the past few weeks. In 2018, she underwent a double mastectomy after a breast cancer diagnosis. Last year, however, she developed breast muscle cancer and had to undergo grueling chemotherapy and radiation therapy. According to "The Sun on Sunday", she now described how bad things were for her in 2022 and what help her ex-partner Pinault's wife was to her. "Salma called and I said, 'We're not having Thanksgiving this year.' I was half dead. I couldn't."
The actress then explained to her: “I will be there.” She actually flew to New York and helped her. "She cooked. I said, 'I want your Mexican chicken,' and she threw a whole party all by herself. I don't know how she found her way around my kitchen so quickly. She did a great job."
Evangelista and Pinault were in a relationship in 2005 and 2006. They have son Augustin (16) together. A year later, Hayek and Pinault had their daughter Valentina in 2007 and tied the knot in 2009. In 2021, Hayek posted a photo with Augustin on Instagram, which the model commented with two heart emojis.
