King Charles III's wife (74) speaks in the magazine about a serious matter, as the slogan on the cover next to her picture already reveals: "Think of others this festive season".

In the accompanying interview, Camilla discusses her work with SafeLives, a charity that cares for victims of domestic violence, on Good Housekeeping. "The work of SafeLives is very important to me," said the Queen Consort. She met so many women - and men - "who live in an atmosphere of constant fear". She adds that "her stories still haunt her" and that "her experiences are always deeply upsetting, but her strength in overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles is inspirational".

The Queen Consort isn't the only member of the royal family to feature in the magazine's issue. Five more senior female royals are introduced. Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), who died in September, gave her blessing to the special edition as part of the magazine's centenary celebrations and her platinum jubilee year, according to Good Housekeeping.

In addition to Camilla, the book features Princess Kate (49), Sophie of Wessex (57), Princess Anne (72), Birgitte, the Duchess of Gloucester (76), and Princess Alexandra (85). They also do it for a good cause.

It's Camilla's first magazine cover since she took over the throne after King Charles III ascended the throne. became Queen Consort in September. In July, the 75-year-old already shone on the cover of the British magazine "Country Life".
