Twelve celebrities want to leave the jungle camp with the jungle crown. A large fan base is important for progress. Who already has one and who has to work out the range first? The jungle camp candidates in the social media check.

Before the start of the reality TV show, singer Lucas Cordalis (55) had the crown in the follower ranking. The son of the first jungle king Costa Cordalis (1944-2019) currently has 592,000 followers on Instagram.

What trash TV macho Luigi "Gigi" Birofio (23) reveals about himself on Instagram has been followed by 257,000 people so far.

"DSDS" singer and "Checker vom Neckar" Cosimo Citiolo (41) currently has 254,000 Instagram followers behind him.

And YouTube star and influencer Jolina Mennen (30) follow 217,000 people on Instagram. The situation is similar with 284,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

After all, these celebrities have already cracked the 100,000 mark: radio presenter Verena Kerth (41), girlfriend of the eleventh jungle king Marc Terenzi (44), has been able to attract 112,000 followers on Instagram so far.

Actress Jana Pallaske (43) followed 105,000 people on Instagram before the TV show started.

And designer and soccer star wife Claudia Effenberg (57) is currently following 101,000 people on Instagram.

There is still a little room for improvement with these three jungle camp participants: Top model Papis Loveday (46) is currently happy with at least 41,900 Instagram followers.

31,400 are interested in reality star and trash queen Cecilia Asoro (25) on Instagram.

Model and "GNTM" bitch Tessa Bergmeier (33) has 12,100 followers on Instagram.

The two old stars in the field of participants naturally do not yet have that many social media followers: 3204 followers are currently interested in the Instagram activities of actor Martin Semmelrogge (67, "Das Boot").

And musician Markus Mörl (63), from whom the NDW hits "I want fun" (1982) and "KleineFlashlight brenn'" (1983) come from, has 2740 followers on Instagram behind him.

The jungle camp 2023 starts on January 13th on RTL (and RTL). For the first time, Sonja Zietlow (54) will moderate the popular reality show together with Jan Köppen (39) after Daniel Hartwich (44) said goodbye.
