As announced on Saturday, these celebrities are moving to the Australian bush: reality star and trash queen Cecilia Asoro (25), radio presenter Verena Kerth (41), designer Claudia Effenberg (57) and "DSDS" singer and "Checker from the Neckar" Cosimo Citiolo (40).

As suspected for a long time, singer Lucas Cordalis (55), son of the first jungle king Costa Cordalis (1944-2019), is also there. Last year he had to pass at short notice due to a corona infection. Also confirmed are actor Martin Semmelrogge (67), actress Jana Pallaske (43) and YouTube star and influencer Jolina Mennen (30).

Trash TV macho Luigi "Gigi" Birofio (23), international top model Papis Loveday (45), NDW legend Markus Mörl (63) and model and "GNTM" bitch Tessa Bergmeier (33) complete the field of participants.

For the first time, Sonja Zietlow (54) will moderate the popular reality show on site in Australia together with Jan Köppen (39) after Daniel Hartwich (44) said goodbye. Jungle camp doctor Dr. Bob (72) will also be there again. Season 16 kicks off on January 13, 2023.
