The new season of the RTL format "I'm a star – get me out of here!" starts on January 13th. After two years of Corona, the show is taking place again in Australia. That's where RTL brought the twelve more or less prominent participants. The star introduces them one after the other. Today: Tessa Bergmeier.

Tessa Bergmeier wanted to be known as a presenter early on. At the age of 13 she left home and went to boarding school. The first model scout became aware of Bergmeier at the age of 14. After a difficult childhood marked by strong conflicts with her parents, Tessa was soon on her own in the world of modeling. She quickly noticed that modeling could open doors for her as a moderator and applied to all sorts of modeling contests until she was finally signed to a well-known model agency in Vienna. In 2009, Tessa Bergmeier took part in the fourth season of "Germany's Next Top Model". This participation made her known in the media, because she attracted attention with a lot of bitching, showed Heidi Klum the middle finger after a bad jury rating and flew out of the show. After that she took part in some German reality TV formats. Tessa is also a mother of two daughters and is an advocate for veganism and mental health. On Instagram, she speaks openly about being bioplar.
Participation in the fourth season of GNTM opened the door to Tessa Bergmeier, despite being thrown out prematurely or precisely because of it. Although it's been well over ten years since the 2009 season, Tessa is still remembered. Even before her upcoming participation in the jungle camp, Bergmeier says about herself: "I am what I am – loud, colorful, strong and full of surprises" – so it seems that the 33-year-old is the perfect cast.
In addition to reality TV, Tessa Bergmeier has also repeatedly produced music under the name "Tessa B." or Tessa". She was even able to achieve placements in the dance charts. Her new single will be released in early 2023.
