In an interview with the news agency spot on news, Jenny Frankhauser reveals what her everyday life as a mother looks like at the moment, what she regrets from her pregnancy and what the couple's wedding plans are like. In addition, Frankhauser looks back on her jungle camp time and, as a former jungle queen, gives the new campers tips along the way.

Jenny Frankhauser: The birth was really beautiful and fortunately without complications. I was very scared and very excited, but I would never have dreamed of it being so beautiful. We're doing very well. We're a little tired, but happy.

Frankhauser: We're a very good team and distribute the tasks very well. We really thrive in our role as parents. Everyday life is still very chaotic at the moment and we have to find routines for ourselves, but that will get better over time.

Frankhauser: Everyone was very happy. There were many tears of joy. But the little man is also a real sunshine.

Frankhauser: Of course, the most exciting moments were the announcement of the pregnancy and when we found out the gender. The hardest was actually the first and last month. In the first one I had to deal with extreme nausea and in the last one I could not even stand up because of water retention and the associated pain. I was helping with the renovation for the ninth month and that also pushed me to my limits. In the end it was a hard road, but it was worth it because now we have a beautiful home for our family.

Frankhauser: Yes, at times it really was too much to be expected, to be honest. But we had no other choice, because we couldn't get any more craftsmen and unfortunately there wasn't much help either. Steffen and I did almost everything on our own and I didn't want to let him down and I lent a hand. I would never move or renovate while pregnant again.

Frankhauser: The relationship has become even more intense. We love each other even more and the birth of our son has welded us together even more.

Frankhauser: We were asked if we would like to do it. We really had a lot of fun filming and are already looking forward to the broadcast. This will be a great reminder of everything for us too.

Frankhauser: I will raise him with a lot of love. And I'll do whatever it takes to make him happy for the rest of my life. He's the best thing that could have happened to me.

Frankhauser: We're just enjoying the time as a small family. But we are really looking forward to Christmas. This is the first Christmas with him and the whole family will be celebrating at our house. We don't have any wedding plans at the moment. We had already talked about it, but I didn't want to get married while pregnant and Steffen didn't want to be engaged for a long time and plan the big wedding right away. And we both found it rather unromantic to marry before the birth. Only Steffen knows when the application will come. I'm not putting any unnecessary pressure on him. We have all the time in the world and the application comes when it comes. I'm relaxed there.

Frankhauser: It's unbelievable how time flies! I can still remember it like it was yesterday. I am still grateful to everyone who called for me back then. It still means a lot to me to this day and I will never forget it.

Frankhauser: I love the show and always look forward to it! I'm really excited to see who will be part of our jungle royal family.

Frankhauser: Under no circumstances should you pretend, think too much or make plans. The viewer always notices who is fake. Just go in relaxed, enjoy the adventure and face the challenges.
