James Bond's Aston Martin: Car auctioned for three million euros

The replica Aston Martin DB5 used for the stunts in 'James Bond: No Time To Die' (2021) has been auctioned at Christie's in London on Wednesday. As the auction house announced, the cult vehicle, which was used in an action scene with Daniel Craig (54) at the beginning of the film, changed hands for 2.92 million pounds (equivalent to around 3.26 million euros).

The replica of the iconic Aston, one of eight vehicles specially designed and manufactured for the 2021 film, was the only DB5 stunt car offered for sale by Aston Martin and EON Production, according to Christie's.

Proceeds from the sale will be donated to charity, along with proceeds from the sale of 24 other items auctioned off as part of a special auction of items celebrating 007's 60th anniversary.

A further 35 objects will be auctioned online until October 5th. This includes costumes and accessories associated with the franchise.
