"Jackass" star Bam Margera: Released from the clinic after Covid 19 disease

The "Jackass" star Bam Margera (43) has been discharged from the hospital after his severe Covid 19 illness. Margera himself posted a photo of himself on his Instagram account with a friend, captioning it, "I'm out!" The stuntman and skateboarder was hospitalized in San Jose, California, early last week with severe pneumonia. There he tested positive for the corona virus and was put on a ventilator in the intensive care unit.

However, his team gave the all-clear at the end of the week. His condition is now stable and Margera is on the mend. Fortunately, he could be released soon. According to media reports, he was only artificially ventilated out of sheer caution. In addition to the corona infection, he was also infected with bacteria. A dangerous combination that often leads to complications.

The TV star made headlines several times over the summer after fleeing rehab where he was being treated for alcohol addiction. However, the police were able to find him a short time later and take him back to the hospital. Margera has battled alcohol for many years and has revealed mental health issues.
